The Topanga Youth Services production took place in front of a packed Community House and, although there was a smattering of drama and comedy, music was by far the main emphasis.

From singing the classics, original compositions and pop hits to adeptly playing instruments, there was nothing the cast didn’t tackle.

After the show it was gratifying to hear so many comments like “Wow!” “That was cool!” and “I didn’t know they could do that.” coming from peers and parents alike. But ultimately it wasn’t even about how well the kids performed on stage. The real talent was just being brave enough to get up there and go for it. Topanga must be doing something right. Bravo!
