“Recipes for Theater” 
Playwriting for a short play with Brendan
This online six-week workshop will introduce participants into the basic ingredients for creating a short original play. Using stories, film or play references we will learn about Character, Theme, Dialogue, Conflict, and Story. By learning these ingredients, students will “cook up” their own short play (5-10 pages), with an option for a future staging.
For ages 10-18, with teen and pre teen groups.

Led by Brendan McCall, a writer, actor, director, choreographer and producer. Teaching credits include Yale School of Drama, the New School for Drama, New York University, the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School, the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, the New York Film Academy, Bilkent University (Turkey), Danshögskolan and Ballettakademien (Sweden), and The International Theater Academy Norway. His writing has been published in English, French, Russian, Belarusian, and Norwegian.
